I'll give it to the big pharma companies, they've finally made a drug that can kill any bacteria! Oh whats that??? This drug is made with flourine??? Isn't that the stuff we discussed in our college chemistry class, and we found out that it is one of the most TOXIC naturally occuring poisons in the WORLD???? YES IT IS!!! And all the bad side effects everyone is complaining about are the exact same symptoms as flouride poisoning. So good job pharma companies!!! Put the exact same flouride found in RAT POISON into our medicines. (Levaquin and many many others in that family)... Don't think something this awefull can be done to you? Well think again, as long as the drug companies keep making money government officals and the media get their fair shares of the money to stay out of the way. People dont trust your doctors or government trust what thousands of Americans a yelling and dont take this drug!!! P.s. From my past, side effects diminish but dont completely go away. God bless |

A case of the drug worked but the patient died. This is a very dangerous drug. I am a very healthy person who was disabled for almost a year due to this drug. This drug should be the very last choice for any infection. Be smart: get a specimen to a lab first and look for any other possible drug before you pick this poison. |

It has caused severe burning pains in both arms and numbnes. The burning pain is so bad it keeps me awake, the doctors have check me for ms, Lyme, and other diseases. The burning started after taking this medication and no cure in sight, help me before I lose my mind. It has ruined my life. |

This is the second time I took this drug since July 09...I had to take it again also for an infected saliva gland. The first time I had so much muscle pain that lasted about 3 weeks. I told the Dr. last week when she prescribed it again what it did and she told me that was the only thing to help. So after 5 days I started with the muscle pain again. My arms are pretty much useless at this time and I am sitting with ice packs on my shoulders and forearms. I have sharp jabbing pain in my joints and can't sleep as it kills my shoulders and hips to lay on my sides. I will NEVER take this again!! The hard thing is getting Drs. to believe that your symptoms are real and they are from that drug. |

I took three doses of this and developed severe nausea, diziness,vertigo and then tendonitis. The tendonitis has now turned into RSD/ CRPS which is a chronic pain condition and there is no cure, this is not a normal reaction, I know, but I feel I should have been warned about the black box warnings before being given this drug. I strongly urge anyone prescribed this medication to research it before taking a single dose as only 3 have ruined my life. |

This drug was a sample of 5 pills given to my mom by her physician for a lung infection. The day after she finished the 5th pill she noticed pain in one Achilles tendon. 4 days later she could not walk. Both Achilles tendons had ruptured. She is now wearing braces on her legs that she may have to wear for a year or longer. Please consult a resouce about drug interactions-her doctor didn't, and we understand that her blood thinner and prednisone intensified the effects of thes drug. |

This drug caused me severe side effects. Primarily prolonged innsomnia with hallucinations, weakness in muscles , joint problems ,and jitteriness. Please search web for info from other who have had similar reactions. I will never take this one again. |

this drug can cause a major side effect that they don't tell you that causes you damage the rest of your life.Look into the sights on this drug and listen to all the people including me who have been damaged with this drug. I am 44 and have neurophothy without my body thanks to this drug. I was in the ER and no warrning about this powerfull antibiotic and suffer now. |

had difficult time with side effects to digestive system. also serioulsy reduced my strength. this strong antibiotic has been prescribed before for lung infection. |

This is a strong antibiotic that has some nasty side effects. It will get rid of a severe infection, but you could have: vomiting, nausea, headaches, sweating & even hallucinations. I have been on it twice in my life and avoid it at all costs. There are other medications that are just as effective without the horrific side effects of this medication |
