I get urinary prolbems all the time I have to go to the hospital and have it put in through a iv set up. I am afriad of the side affects that this meds. do. I have hurt that it can cause kidney problems and I have only one kidney. |

However, no one warned me about sunlight, prednisone, or acetominophin interactions. Yet it brought me to life from an infection the doctors can't find, can't explain why my right kidney throbs. They're missing something. |

It does appear to work. However, many side effects. glad i'm not on this too long. |

I've been on so many different drugs for UTI and Levaquin has worked the best. Nothing was working during my last UTI and the doctor gave me Levaquin. After a 45 min period of having an overactive bladder shortly after taking Levaquin, the cystitis (pain and burning) was gone and I was good as gold. This never happened before with any other drug. |
