This is a wonderful antibiotic. It has always come through for me when I really needed it. However, I did discover that I need to eat something before taking it or my stomach will feel like I swallowed a brick. I love the convenience of taking it for only 4 days as I have had trouble in the past with other antibiotics causing a rash on my neck, chest and arms after taking them for about 5 days. I'm finished with the Z-Pack before getting to the 5 day rash. |

This drug has never worked for me or anyone in my family. We have tried it on numerous occasions for different things and always the original problem is right back at square one on the follow up visit. There have been ocasions when I actually asked the pharmacist if he was giving me the placebo. I now refuse this drug. |

Just be aware of a growing antibiotic caused infection called c-diff, very contagious, can cause permanent colitis or require surgery. Do google search about antibiotics and clostridium difficile infection. Very dangerous and now common. Educate your doctors they may not know. Wash those hands with SOAP! |

This is a great medication. I have taken this a couple of times, and each time it does its job and makes me better again. |

The Z-Max one-dose of azithromycin almost killed me, although it did knock out the respiratory infection I had been dealing with. Within hours of taking it I was violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea. My stomach has never been the same again and I'll never take this drug again no matter how effective it is. I've heard of several other people who had similar reactions to the Z-Max, while the Z-Pak seems to be a great delivery system for this drug. |

This is the best antiobiotic I've ever taken! The TriPack is even better because it is only a three day course. Much higher compliance rating! |
